How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power or gas. Use caution; water may be hot.
Steps:
- Attach a garden hose and briefly open then close the drain valve to flush debris.
- If dripping continues from the spout, install a threaded hose cap or replace the drain valve.
- To replace: shut off water, relieve pressure, drain below valve level, unscrew old valve, and install a new brass drain valve with thread sealant.
