Brine is not being drawn from the brine tank during regeneration

Safety: Unplug the unit and depressurize the system before opening the injector housing.

• Check for salt bridge: Use a broom handle to gently break any hardened salt crust in the brine tank so that salt contacts water.
• Clean injector: Remove the injector cap and take out the nozzle and throat. Soak in warm water with vinegar to dissolve scale, then rinse and reinstall.
• Inspect brine line and fittings: Check all brine line connections for tightness. An air leak will prevent suction. Replace cracked tubing or O-rings.
• Test suction: During brine draw, disconnect the brine line at the tank and place it in a bucket of water. If the valve draws water from the bucket, the issue is in the brine tank (salt bridge or float). If not, the injector or brine valve needs further service or replacement.
