Control display is blank and softener is unresponsive

Safety: Use caution when working with electrical outlets. Do not open sealed electronic modules beyond manufacturer guidance.

• Check outlet: Plug a lamp or tester into the outlet to confirm power. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
• Inspect power adapter: Ensure the AFWFilters adapter is firmly plugged into both the outlet and the control valve. Replace if the adapter is warm with no output or visibly damaged.
• Internal fuse: If your model has an accessible fuse, unplug the unit and check the fuse. Replace only with the same type and rating.
• Control board: If power is present at the low-voltage connector but the display remains blank, the control board is likely failed and should be replaced.
