Brine draw / flow fault
Display shows ERR3 and regeneration stops mid-cycle

Possible Causes
Blocked venturi injector, Clogged brine line, Stuck brine valve, Air leak at brine line fittings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and close the inlet valve. Depressurize by opening a nearby soft water faucet.
- Check brine level: Ensure there is adequate water in the brine tank (typically 6–12 inches depending on model). If the tank is completely dry, the system may not be drawing brine correctly.
- Inspect brine line: Follow the brine line from the control valve to the brine well. Check for kinks, pinched sections, or visible salt blockages. Straighten or clear as needed.
- Clean venturi injector: Remove the injector cap on the control valve (usually held by screws). Carefully remove the injector nozzle and throat. Soak them in warm water with a little vinegar to dissolve scale, then rinse thoroughly. Reinstall in the correct orientation.
- Check brine valve and float: Open the brine well in the salt tank. Verify that the safety float moves freely up and down and that the brine valve is not stuck. Clean any salt crust from the float assembly.
- Reassemble and test: Restore water and power. Start a manual regeneration and observe the brine draw stage. The brine level in the tank should slowly drop. If ERR3 reappears, the brine valve assembly or injector housing may need replacement.
