Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the unit in bypass to restore water to the home. Disconnect power before opening the valve head.
- 1. Attempt manual advance: If the control panel allows, use the advance button to step through stages. If it will not advance, suspect motor or control issues.
- 2. Inspect motor and cam: Remove the cover and check that the motor is connected and the cam is not jammed by debris.
- 3. Power cycle and re-home: With the cam in a neutral position (per service manual), power up the unit and allow it to find home.
If the valve cannot complete a cycle after these steps, the drive motor, cam sensor, or entire valve head may need replacement.
