Amfa4000 will not start at all, no display or lights

Safety first: Do not work on live electrical circuits. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician.

• 1. Check outlet or spur: Verify the wall outlet has power or that the fused spur switch is on. Replace the fuse with the correct rating if blown.
• 2. Inspect power adapter: If the Amfa4000 uses an external adapter, ensure it is firmly plugged in and not damaged. Test with a multimeter if available.
• 3. Check control board connector: Remove the control cover and confirm the low-voltage power plug is fully seated on the main PCB.
• 4. Try another outlet: Temporarily connect the Amfa4000 to a known-good outlet to rule out wiring issues.

If there is confirmed power at the adapter output but the unit remains dead, the internal transformer or main control board may need replacement.
