E12
Amfa4000 Low Inlet Pressure / Fill Fault

E12 displayed and the Amfa4000 reports low inlet pressure or fails to complete regeneration

Possible Causes

Household supply pressure too low, Partially closed upstream stopcock, Clogged pre-filter before Amfa4000, Blocked inlet screen in Amfa4000 manifold

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before opening any water fittings. Have towels ready for spills.

  • 1. Check other fixtures: Open several taps in the home. If all have weak flow, contact your water supplier or plumber to address low mains pressure.
  • 2. Verify stopcocks and valves: Ensure the main stopcock and any intermediate isolation valves feeding the Amfa4000 are fully open.
  • 3. Inspect pre-filter (if fitted): If there is a sediment filter before the Amfa4000, shut off water, relieve pressure, and replace or clean the cartridge.
  • 4. Clean inlet screen: As with E01, remove and rinse the inlet mesh screen on the Amfa4000 manifold to restore flow.

After restoring adequate pressure and flow, clear E12 and run a manual regeneration. If the error recurs despite good pressure, the internal pressure sensor or control logic may be at fault.
