Clean the brine tank:

• Use up or remove remaining salt.
• Scoop out the mushy salt and sludge from the bottom.
• Rinse the tank thoroughly with warm water and scrub if needed.
• Reinstall the brine well and float assembly, ensuring all parts are clean and moving freely.

Refill with proper salt:

• Use high-purity pellet salt and avoid mixing different salt types.

Regularly inspect and clean the brine tank (every 1–2 years) to prevent recurrence.
