Possible Causes

Clogged venturi injector, Blocked brine line, Stuck brine valve, Air leak at brine line fittings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and close the inlet valve. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling salty water.

  • Check brine level: Ensure there is sufficient water in the brine tank. If the tank is completely dry, add water per Aqmos instructions and restart a regeneration.
  • Inspect brine line: Follow the small tube from the brine tank to the control head. Look for kinks, cracks, or loose push-fit connectors. Reseat or replace tubing as needed.
  • Clean venturi/injector: Remove the injector/venturi assembly from the Aqmos valve head (usually under a cap). Disassemble and soak parts in warm water with a little vinegar to dissolve scale. Rinse thoroughly and reassemble.
  • Check brine valve: Manually move the brine valve (if accessible) to ensure it is not stuck. If the valve does not move freely or leaks, replace the brine valve cartridge.
  • Test regeneration: Restore water and power, then start a manual regeneration and observe whether brine is drawn from the tank. If E02 persists, the control valve assembly may need professional service.
