Flow Meter Over-Registration / Leak Detection
E14 displayed and unit reports excessive water usage or frequent regenerations

Possible Causes
Leaking household plumbing downstream, Dripping faucets or toilets, Flow sensor miscalibration, Electrical noise on flow sensor line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic leak checks.
- Check for leaks: With all taps closed, observe the Aqmos display flow rate (if available). Any continuous flow indicates a leak in the home plumbing.
- Inspect toilets and taps: Look for running toilets, dripping faucets, or leaking outdoor spigots. Repair these fixtures.
- Verify flow sensor: If no leaks are found, inspect the flow sensor wiring for damage or loose connections that could cause false pulses.
- Clean turbine: Remove and clean the flow turbine as described for E04 to ensure it is not sticking or bouncing.
- Reset usage data: After repairs, clear the error and reset usage counters if the Aqmos controller supports it. Monitor for recurrence.
