Softener does not use any salt; salt level never drops

Safety: Wear gloves when working in the brine tank.

• Check for salt bridge: Push a broom handle straight down into the salt. If you hit a hollow space before water, break up the crust so salt falls into the water.
• Verify water in brine tank: There should be some water at the bottom. If completely dry, check brine refill valve and refill line.
• Observe brine draw: Start a manual regeneration and watch the brine level. If it does not drop, clean the injector and check the brine line and valve for blockages.
• Clean components: Remove and clean the venturi/injector and brine fittings with warm water and a soft brush.
