Brine tank full of water or water level unusually high

Safety first: Place the softener in bypass and unplug it. Use caution when bailing out water from the brine tank.

• Remove excess water: Use a small pump or container to remove water until the level is just above the salt grid or a few inches from the bottom.
• Check float assembly: Ensure the brine safety float moves freely and shuts off water when lifted. Clean or replace if stuck.
• Inspect brine line: Confirm the brine line is not blocked or kinked, which can prevent proper draw and leave water behind.
• Review settings: Verify the brine refill time or salt setting is correct for your Aqua Dial model.
• Test regeneration: After corrections, run a manual regeneration and observe the brine draw and refill stages.
