Possible Causes
Blocked brine refill port in Aqua Dial valve, Closed brine line valve (if fitted), Faulty brine valve, Incorrect programming disabling refill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power and water if removing valve components.
- Check recent regeneration: Immediately after a regeneration, there should be some water in the brine tank. If not, refill is not occurring.
- Inspect brine line: Ensure the line is connected and not blocked. Remove the line at the valve and briefly run a manual refill stage to see if water exits the port (have a bucket ready).
- Clean refill port: If no water flows, the internal brine refill port or valve may be blocked. Follow the Aqua Dial service guide to clean or replace the brine valve.
- Verify settings: Confirm that the brine refill time is not set to zero in the controller.
