Possible Causes

Insufficient brine concentration due to low salt, Blocked injector reducing brine draw, Shortened regeneration cycle in programming, Resin bed severely fouled

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No special safety beyond normal plumbing precautions.

  • Check salt and brine: Ensure adequate salt is present and that there is water in the brine tank.
  • Clean injector and brine line: Follow the injector cleaning steps under E02 and inspect the brine line.
  • Restore default cycle times: Reset regeneration stage times to factory defaults for your Aqua Dial model.
  • Run two regenerations: Perform two back-to-back manual regenerations to fully recharge the resin, then retest hardness.
  • Consider resin replacement: If hardness remains high, plan for resin cleaning or replacement.
