Aquabion softener bypass valve is difficult to turn or stuck.

Safety first: Relieve pressure by closing inlet/outlet valves and opening a downstream tap before forcing any valve.

• Do not force handle: Excessive force can break the bypass valve and cause leaks.
• Exercise valve: Gently work the handle back and forth within its free range to loosen deposits.
• Disassemble and clean: If accessible, disassemble the bypass according to Aquabion instructions, clean internal parts, and replace O-rings and seals.
• Replace bypass: If the valve remains stiff or leaks after service, replace the entire Aquabion bypass assembly.

Warning: Always return the bypass to the correct service position after maintenance to ensure water is treated.
