Possible Causes

Defective Aquabion AC adapter, Loose power connector at controller, Shared circuit with heavy loads causing voltage drops, Internal control board power regulator failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the power adapter before inspection.

  • Check outlet and circuit: Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to verify stable power. Avoid using extension cords or power strips shared with large appliances.
  • Inspect power adapter: Examine the Aquabion power supply for cracks, swelling, or discoloration. Ensure the low-voltage plug fits snugly into the controller jack. Replace the adapter if there are any signs of damage or if output voltage (measured with a multimeter) is outside the rated range.
  • Inspect controller jack: Wiggle the power plug gently at the controller. If the display flickers, the power jack or internal solder joints may be loose and require board repair or replacement.
  • Replace control board if needed: If a new adapter does not resolve E07 and voltage at the board is correct, the main control board internal regulator may be failing and should be replaced.

Warning: Do not attempt to open or repair the sealed power adapter; replace it with an Aquabion-approved unit of the correct voltage and polarity.
