E13
Aquabion
Low Inlet Water Pressure Detection
Aquabion softener shows E13 and regeneration is inhibited due to low inlet pressure.

Possible Causes
Municipal supply pressure too low, Clogged inlet screen on Aquabion valve, Partially closed inlet isolation valve, Faulty pressure sensor (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure all electrical work is done with power disconnected. Plumbing work should be done with valves closed and pressure relieved.
- Verify house pressure: Use a pressure gauge on a nearby tap to confirm inlet pressure meets Aquabion minimum requirements (typically 1.5–2 bar / 20–30 psi).
- Check isolation valves: Confirm that the inlet isolation valve to the Aquabion unit is fully open.
- Clean inlet screen: Shut off inlet and outlet valves. Remove the inlet union and extract the inlet filter screen. Rinse away sediment and reinstall.
- Pressure sensor check: On models with a dedicated pressure sensor, inspect the sensor port for blockage and the wiring harness for damage. Replace the sensor if readings are clearly incorrect compared to a mechanical gauge.
Warning: Do not attempt to boost pressure by altering pressure regulators without understanding your plumbing system; consult a plumber if house pressure is consistently low.
