How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the softener before opening the control housing.
Steps:
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then reconnect and test the buttons again.
- Inspect keypad: Check for physical damage, cracks, or signs of water intrusion on the AquaClean control panel.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control cover and verify the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board is fully seated and not pinched.
- Dry moisture: If condensation or moisture is present, gently dry the area with a soft cloth and allow the panel to air dry completely before reassembly.
If certain buttons remain unresponsive or E11 persists, replace the AquaClean user interface / keypad assembly.
