Softener occasionally draws air into the plumbing, causing sputtering at faucets after regeneration.

Safety: Unplug the unit and close the inlet valve before working on brine or drain lines.

Steps:

• Check brine level: Ensure there is adequate water in the brine tank before regeneration.
• Tighten fittings: Inspect and tighten all brine line connections at the tank and AquaClean valve head.
• Inspect pickup tube: Remove the brine well cover and check the pickup tube for cracks or loose joints.
• Drain line routing: Ensure the drain line does not allow air to be drawn back into the valve during certain stages.

Replace any cracked brine pickup components with AquaClean-approved parts.
