Possible Causes
Regeneration frequency too high, Hardness set too high, Brine valve leaking, Incorrect brine refill setting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No special hazards for programming checks; use care when lifting salt bags.
Steps:
- Review settings: Check AquaClean hardness, capacity, and reserve settings. Reduce hardness or increase capacity only within realistic limits.
- Check regen history: Look at the number of regenerations per week. If very high, adjust settings to reduce frequency.
- Inspect brine valve: Ensure the brine valve fully closes after refill and does not allow continuous water into the brine tank.
- Observe brine level: If the brine tank water level is always very high, adjust the brine refill setting down.
If mechanical leakage into the brine tank is suspected, replace the AquaClean brine valve assembly.
