Softener will not power on; display is blank and unresponsive.

Safety: Use caution when working with electrical outlets. Do not open sealed transformers.

Steps:

• Check outlet: Confirm the outlet has power by plugging in another device.
• Inspect adapter: Ensure the AquaClean power adapter is firmly plugged into both the outlet and the control head.
• Check breaker: Reset any tripped circuit breaker or GFCI feeding the softener.
• Test transformer output: With a multimeter, measure the low-voltage output of the transformer. If zero, replace the transformer.

If the transformer outputs correct voltage but the control remains dead, the AquaClean main control board is likely faulty.
