Water softener is leaking from the brine tank or around the brine line connections.

Safety: Unplug the unit and close the inlet valve. Wear gloves when handling salty water.

Steps:

• Locate leak: Dry the outside of the brine tank and observe where water seeps out: at fittings, seams, or the bottom.
• Tighten fittings: Gently tighten the brine line nut at the tank and at the AquaClean valve head.
• Inspect grommet: Check the rubber grommet where the brine line enters the tank. Replace if cracked or hardened.
• Check tank for cracks: If the tank itself is cracked, replacement of the AquaClean brine tank is required.

After repairs, refill with salt and water as needed and monitor for further leaks.
