Aquasana softener causes air spurting from faucets after regeneration

Safety first: Air in lines is usually not dangerous but can cause splashing. Open faucets slowly.

Steps to remove air:

• 1. Purge air: Open several cold faucets and let water run until air spurting stops.
• 2. Check brine line connections: Ensure all brine line fittings at the Aquasana control head and brine tank are tight and sealed.
• 3. Inspect drain termination: Make sure the drain line terminates properly and cannot siphon air back into the valve.
• 4. Verify full rinse: Confirm that the regeneration cycle is not being interrupted before final rinse completes.
