Safety first: Do not open electrical components while plugged in. Water can remain on; the valve will stay in last position.

Steps to restore power:

• 1. Check outlet: Verify the outlet has power by plugging in another device. Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
• 2. Inspect adapter: Ensure the Aquasana power adapter is firmly plugged into both the outlet and the control head.
• 3. Check cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or damage to the low-voltage cord.
• 4. Test adapter (advanced): Use a multimeter to verify the adapter output matches the rated voltage.
• 5. Replace components: Replace the power adapter if it has no output. If a known-good adapter does not restore power, the electronic control board is likely defective and should be replaced.
