  • Review regeneration mode: Confirm that the AquaSoft is set to meter-initiated or time-initiated regeneration as desired and that the setting is not disabled.
  • Force manual regeneration: Use the "Regen" button to start a manual cycle. If nothing happens, the drive motor or control board may be faulty.
  • Inspect motor and wiring: Remove the cover and check the motor harness and board connections. If the motor does not receive power during a regen command, replace the control board. If it receives power but does not turn, replace the motor.
