Possible Causes
Drive motor failure, Jammed cam or rotor, Control board not advancing cycle, Position sensor misalignment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and close inlet and outlet valves. Open a faucet to relieve pressure.
- Manually advance: Use the manual advance knob to move the valve back to the service position. If it will not move, the rotor or seals may be jammed.
- Inspect drive components: Remove the cover and check the motor, gears, and cam for damage or obstructions.
- Check position sensor: Ensure the position sensor or switch is properly aligned with the cam and that its wiring is intact.
- Replace faulty parts: Replace the AquaSoft drive motor, cam gear, or seal kit as needed. If the control does not send advance signals, replace the control board.
