Safety first: Unplug the unit and close the inlet valve. Mop up standing water to prevent slip hazards.

• Inspect tank walls and bottom: Look for visible cracks or splits in the AquaSoft brine tank. If present, the tank must be replaced.
• Check brine well and grommet: Examine the brine well tube and the rubber grommet where it enters the tank bottom. Tighten or replace the grommet if it is leaking.
• Inspect brine line fittings: Ensure the brine line connection at the brine well and at the control head are tight and not dripping.
• Verify float operation: Confirm the brine float shuts off water at the correct level. If it sticks and causes overflow, clean or replace the AquaSoft brine float assembly.
