Possible Causes
Blocked venturi injector, Air leak in brine line, Brine line blocked with salt sludge, Safety float stuck closed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close inlet valve. Be prepared for minor spills when disconnecting hoses.
- Observe brine level: During the brine draw phase of regeneration, the brine level should slowly decrease. If it does not, continue with checks.
- Check for air leaks: Ensure all brine line connections are tight. Even small air leaks can prevent suction.
- Clean brine line: Disconnect the brine hose and flush it with warm water to remove salt deposits or sludge.
- Clean venturi injector: Remove and clean the venturi nozzle and throat in the valve head as described in the manual.
- Verify float position: Ensure the safety float is not blocking the brine draw port at the bottom of the brine well.
