How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power briefly before performing resets.
- Soft reset: Reconnect power and perform a soft reset via the menu (refer to the BWT Perla manual). Check if the error clears.
- Factory reset: If available, perform a factory reset to restore default parameters. Re-enter water hardness, capacity, and time settings.
- Avoid interruptions: Do not disconnect power while saving settings in the menu to prevent further corruption.
- Replace main PCB: If E13 persists after a factory reset, the EEPROM or microcontroller is likely defective and the main control board must be replaced.
