Possible Causes
Out-of-range readings from flow, temperature, or brine sensors, Incorrect sensor type configured, Defective sensor or main PCB ADC circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before handling sensors.
- Check sensor configuration: In the installer menu, verify that the correct sensor options are selected for the installed hardware (e.g., salt sensor enabled only if present).
- Inspect all sensors: Check flow meter, temperature sensor, and brine/salt sensors for damage, loose connections, or contamination. Clean and reseat as needed.
- Perform calibration (if available): Some BWT Perla models allow sensor calibration via the menu. Follow the manual to run the calibration routine.
- Replace faulty sensor: If one sensor consistently reads out of range, replace it with a BWT-approved spare.
- Replace PCB if needed: If all sensors are known good and E15 persists, the analog input circuitry on the main PCB may be defective and require replacement.
