Possible Causes

Damaged tank O-ring, Cracked valve head housing, Over-tightened or cross-threaded tank adapter, Excessive system pressure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Close inlet and outlet valves and depressurize the system by opening a nearby tap. Disconnect power.

  • Locate leak: Dry the area and observe where water emerges when the system is pressurized.
  • Check tank connection: If the leak is at the junction between the valve head and resin vessel, the tank O-ring may be pinched or damaged.
  • Remove valve head: Carefully unscrew the valve head from the resin tank following the manual. Inspect the O-ring and sealing surfaces.
  • Replace O-ring: Install a new BWT tank O-ring, lubricated lightly with food-grade silicone grease. Reinstall the valve head, tightening evenly without over-torquing.
  • Check pressure: Ensure system pressure is within BWT specifications. Install a pressure reducer if necessary.
