Brine tank is full of water but salt does not dissolve properly

Safety: Wear gloves when handling salty sludge.

• Remove mush: Scoop out the mushy salt and sludge from the bottom of the Cillit brine tank. Rinse the tank with warm water and drain completely.
• Clean brine well: Remove the brine float assembly and clean the well tube and air check valve.
• Refill correctly: Refill with high‑purity Cillit tablet salt and fresh water to the recommended level.
• Check regeneration: Run a manual regeneration and confirm that brine is drawn and refilled correctly.
