Possible Causes
Regeneration schedule disabled, Flow meter not registering usage, Blocked brine injector, Stuck brine valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the control head. Wear gloves when handling brine.
- Check regeneration history: Review the controller’s regeneration counter or history (if available) to see when the last cycle occurred.
- Verify programming: Ensure the unit is set to metered or time‑clock mode and that regeneration is not disabled.
- Test manual regeneration: Start a manual regeneration and observe the brine level. It should drop during brine draw. If it does not, clean the Cillit brine injector and brine line as described in the E03 procedure.
- Check flow meter: Confirm that the controller registers flow when water is used. If not, service or replace the Cillit turbine flow meter.
