How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Work only on de‑energized circuits unless you are qualified. Use a voltage tester.
- Check outlet: Verify that the wall socket or fused spur has power by plugging in another device.
- Inspect power adapter: Check the Cillit low‑voltage power adapter and cable for damage. Replace if warm, noisy, or physically damaged.
- Check fuse: Some models have an internal fuse on the PCB. Disconnect power, open the cover, and inspect/replace the fuse with the same rating.
- Measure low‑voltage output: Use a multimeter to confirm the adapter outputs the correct voltage to the controller.
- Replace PCB: If correct voltage is present but the display remains dead, the Cillit main control PCB is likely faulty.
