Water leaks from the brine line connections or brine well

Safety: Isolate the softener and avoid slipping on spilled brine.

• Tighten fittings: Check all brine hose nuts and push‑fit connectors at the valve and brine well. Tighten hand‑tight plus a small additional turn.
• Inspect tubing: Look for cracks, discoloration, or stiffness in the brine tubing. Replace with new Cillit‑approved brine tubing if degraded.
• Check grommets: Inspect the rubber grommet where the brine tube enters the brine well. Replace if hardened or cracked.
• Test under operation: Run a regeneration and watch for leaks during brine draw and refill.
