Check brine valve movement: Confirm the brine valve opens during refill. If it remains closed, replace the brine valve assembly.
Verify programming: Ensure the controller has a brine refill step with adequate time programmed. If set to zero, the tank will not refill.

Tip: After restoring refill, manually add water to the brine tank to speed recovery of softening capacity.
