Water leaks from fittings on inlet, outlet, or drain connections of the softener.

Safety first: Close the main water supply and relieve pressure before tightening or removing fittings.

• Inspect fittings: Check all inlet, outlet, and drain connections for drips. Gently tighten threaded fittings with appropriate tools, avoiding overtightening.
• Check O-rings: For quick-connect or union fittings, disassemble and inspect O-rings. Replace with Crystal Quest O-ring kits if flattened, cracked, or missing.
• Support piping: Ensure plumbing is properly supported so the valve is not bearing pipe weight or stress.
• Use proper sealant: For threaded connections, apply PTFE tape or approved pipe dope suitable for potable water.
