Possible Causes
Stuck or damaged turbine, Disconnected flow sensor cable, Incorrect meter setting, Failed flow sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Bypass the softener and relieve pressure before removing the meter assembly.
- Confirm actual flow: Open a faucet downstream of the softener to verify water is flowing.
- Inspect meter: Remove the flow meter cap and turbine. Clean any debris and ensure the turbine spins freely with a gentle puff of air.
- Check wiring: Reseat the flow sensor connector at both the meter and the control board.
- Verify programming: In the installer menu, confirm the correct meter type and size are selected.
If the turbine spins freely and wiring is intact but the display still shows No Flow during use, the flow sensor or control board may need replacement.
