Regeneration Inhibit or Scheduling Fault
Display shows “No Regen” or unit never regenerates automatically

Possible Causes
Regeneration disabled in programming, Incorrect time-of-day, Flow meter not counting usage, Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No plumbing work is required for basic checks; you will be working only with the control panel.
- Check time and day: Ensure the time-of-day and day-of-week are set correctly on the Culligan control.
- Verify regen mode: Enter the programming menu and confirm that automatic regeneration is enabled (metered or time clock mode) and that the capacity and hardness are set correctly.
- Check flow meter operation: Run water and confirm that the display shows flow and usage. If not, troubleshoot the flow meter.
- Manual regeneration test: Start a manual regeneration. If the unit regenerates manually but never automatically, the scheduling or meter input is at fault.
