Possible Causes

Safety: No plumbing work required.

Set correct time: Adjust the time-of-day on the Culligan control to match actual local time, paying attention to AM/PM if applicable.
Check regen time: In programming, set the regeneration time to an off-peak hour (commonly 2:00 AM).
Verify backup: If time is frequently lost after short outages, the control board backup circuit may be weak and the board may need replacement.
