Water has a salty taste after regeneration

Safety: Bypass the softener if water taste is objectionable until the issue is corrected.

• Check drain flow: Ensure the drain line is not restricted and that backwash and rinse flows are strong during regeneration.
• Review programming: Verify that the salt dosage and rinse times match Culligan specifications for your model and resin size.
• Run an extra regeneration: After correcting issues, run an additional manual regeneration to fully rinse the resin bed.
