How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the softener before opening the control housing.
- Inspect communication cable: Open the control cover and locate the multi-pin cable between the display module and main PCB. Reseat both ends and ensure no pins are bent.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or water ingress on the boards. If present, dry carefully with a lint-free cloth and allow several hours to air dry.
- Power reset: Reconnect power and observe if Err 10 clears. If the error returns immediately, the main PCB or display module may be damaged.
- Surge protection: If the error followed a power surge, consider installing a surge protector and replacing the affected board.
