Display shows “Err 13” and unit indicates high inlet pressure or shuts off to protect components

Safety: Excessive pressure can cause leaks or burst components. Address pressure issues promptly.

• Measure pressure: Attach a pressure gauge to a cold tap and record static and dynamic pressure. Compare with Ecowater specifications.
• Install pressure reducer: If pressure is consistently high, have a plumber install or adjust a pressure reducing valve upstream of the softener.
• Check expansion vessel: In closed systems with a combi boiler, ensure a properly sized expansion vessel is installed to absorb thermal expansion.
• Inspect pressure sensor: If measured pressure is normal but Err 13 appears, inspect and replace the Ecowater pressure sensor as needed.
