Safety: Programming changes should be done carefully to avoid poor water quality.
- Verify settings: Enter the installer menu and confirm resin volume, salt dose, and hardness settings match the Ecowater model and site conditions.
- Factory reset: Perform a factory reset if available, then re-enter all parameters from the installation sheet.
- Check flow meter: Ensure the flow meter is functioning correctly (see Err 04). Incorrect flow data can cause capacity calculation errors.
- Board replacement: If settings will not save or Err 14 persists after correct programming, the control board may need replacement.
