• Check outlet: Verify the wall outlet supplies the correct voltage using a plug-in tester or multimeter.
• Inspect transformer: Ensure the Ecowater power adapter is the correct model and not warm or buzzing excessively. Replace if suspect.
• Check DC connector: Confirm the low-voltage plug is fully inserted into the softener control head and not corroded.
• Board inspection: If a known-good transformer does not clear Err 19, the internal power supply on the control board may be faulty and require board replacement.
