• Check for regeneration: If the unit is mid-regeneration, some motor noise is normal. If the noise persists in standby, suspect a fault.
• Tighten mounts: Tighten any loose screws on the valve head and mounting bracket to reduce vibration.
• Inspect motor: If the motor hums but the cam does not turn, the motor may be stalled. Check for mechanical jams and replace the motor if necessary.
• Replace transformer: If the external power supply buzzes loudly or becomes very hot, replace it with the correct Ecowater adapter.
