Softener installed but no improvement in limescale on fixtures

Safety: Turn off boiler or heater if altering plumbing to avoid damage.

• Check bypass: Verify the Ecowater bypass is in service position, not bypass.
• Confirm plumbing: Trace inlet and outlet lines to ensure the softener is installed in the correct direction and all house cold feeds (except outside taps if desired) are softened.
• Flush system: Limescale already in the system will not disappear immediately. Over time, softened water will reduce new scale formation.
