• 1. Verify programming: Enter the installer menu (refer to EcoWater manual) and confirm that the correct meter type and capacity are programmed for your model. Correct any mismatched settings.
• 2. Inspect flow sensor wiring: Remove the cover and trace the flow sensor wires from the turbine to the control board. Ensure they are connected to the correct terminals and not reversed or loose.
• 3. Clean turbine: If Err 06 appears intermittently, remove and clean the turbine/flow sensor assembly to ensure it spins freely and is not partially obstructed.
• 4. Firmware compatibility: If the control board was recently replaced, confirm that the board part number is compatible with your valve and meter assembly. Incompatible firmware can cause metering errors.
• 5. Replace faulty components: If wiring and programming are correct and cleaning does not help, replace the EcoWater turbine/flow sensor or the main control board as indicated by diagnostic tests.
