How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the faceplate or keypad assembly.
- Dry and inspect: If the control has been exposed to condensation or a leak, gently dry the area. Do not use heat guns; allow air drying.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the faceplate and verify the ribbon cable between the keypad/display and main board is fully seated and not damaged.
- Test buttons: Press each button firmly. If some buttons work and others do not, the keypad membrane is likely failing.
- Replace keypad/display: Install a new Fleck SXT/XTR faceplate or keypad/display module compatible with your valve model.
