Fleck softener will not power on; display is blank and unresponsive.

Safety first: Do not open the transformer; replace it if faulty. Unplug before removing the control cover.

• Check outlet: Verify the outlet has power using another device. Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
• Inspect transformer: Ensure the transformer is firmly plugged into the outlet and the low-voltage plug is fully inserted into the Fleck control.
• Measure output: Use a multimeter to check the transformer output (typically 24 VAC). Replace if no or low voltage.
• Inspect control board: If the transformer is good, remove the cover and check for burned components or loose power connectors. Replace the control board if damaged.
